Written constitution:The best one?

Then,let me give you some explaination about constitution.A constitution is a written document stating the fundamental rules by which a political system is governed.There are four(4) types of constitution,which are written,unwritten,rigid,and flexible.In this blog entry,we are focusing into written and unwritten constitution only.

From the article,we can see the problems that occur in written constitution.Malaysia are using this type of constitution too.Maybe,we think that written constitution are safer(as it is written and cannot be amended easily) than unwritten constitution where every law is not put into one collection.

Yes,it is true.BUT,when we say about written constitution,they also have some problems.We take Malaysia's Federal Constitution for example.

Some of the rules in our Federal Contitution are made long-long(yeah,before i was born) years ago.So,lets think for a while.We want to use old law in current situation?Maybe it is unsuitable right?Beside,our Federal Constitution cant be a good conflict-preventer.Just see in political crisis in Perak.This crisis also involving court and palace(istana,in Malay).It's looks like even our Sultan dont have any power to control the situation.Where is Federal Constitution?

Phew..End of main point..So,written constitution also have its own weaknesses.Don't think our constitution is the best.

And,i think some Federal Constitution's laws should be amended,to follow the flow of modernization.That's just my opinion.No heart-feeling,please.. :)

PURPOSE OF THE STATE

SALAM...

State is a goverment structure usually sovereign and powerful enough to enforce its writ.State are rather artificial creation, they come and go and change from through the centuries.There are our point below:

1.The development of the nation
-It must have concrete economic plan,trade and commerce and peaceful relation with other state.It has to undertake some public work such as road,bridges,canals and harbour and to maintain some public institution.It must be the objective of a state to build agood image of the nation in the globe.

2.To offer the security to the people
-The state must have control over law and order enforcing agencies.It must protect its citizen from internal and external aggression.

3.Good life of human being
-People get their highest fullfillment within a state
-end of state is ethical

4.Increase growth of economic and development
-need worker which is can contribute for the development of the state
-worker help to explore the natural resources of the state

'KESAN HAK KOSOVO DI IKTIRAF'

Salam&heloo guys..:)

First of all,sory miss fisha for being late to post our opinion on this wall..Don't be mad..hehe..From the task given,we can conclude that this topic is all about Sovereignty of the state.

Bodin said that sovereignty is supreme power over citizen and subjects,unrestrained by law.In other word, sovereignty is the freedom and autonomy to determine our own future and shape our own destiny just like Kosovo wanted freedom even by the seperation of Serbia.It shows that sovereignty is important for the state although in diffrent way from others.

The declaration in the ICJ give a good effect especially in world politic.In other word, diplomatic can AVOID COLD RULE system.For example,Serbia also use the same way to object the declaration in the ICJ.

Second, although the sovereginty of Kosovo is gained by seperation of Serbia,but the result obtain by the MAJORITY should be respect.

Long time ago, Kosovo part of Serbia.Therefore, they deserve to get independency.This is because they still consider in one NATIONALITY which is necessary for the sovereignty of the state even they have diffrent ethnicity,religion,and culture.

Besides that, the separation of Serbia makes the state become smaller.Therfore, it can give OPPORTUNITY to another leader to lead the country.

As a conclusion, there is a lot of benifical for the independency of Kosovo.:)

The world court has been declare that Kosovo has free from Serbia.This decision not broke any international laws.Each country want to be independence.


From the reality,any country do not want to minimize their territory,when we heard about this decision ,hence the others territory citizens that have majority want to have freedom should be respected.Furthermore, that territory it's involved majority of muslim.


Among of the territory is Checnya and Dagestan in Russia ,Kashmir(India ) ,Pattani(Thailand).As expected the declaration that make by world court has been protest by Serbia.


The three factor geopolitic that related with Kosovo.First,from side of etnic,religion and culture,the kosovo citizens race is Albania and the others is Serbia Russia.The reality is the kosovian already suffered live with politic and serbia culture.

a safe environment to work and live.For example,the government protect individuals
property that will allow citizen to do better work and be more prosperous.Another
purpose of the state is,not to be your big brother;it is to protect your property.This is
because under a democracy,the people decide what action the government will
take;however,the people do not know or do not remember that the government is
meant to be limited.....

WHAT WE UNDERSTAND ABOUT "KOSOVO" (GROUP 5A)

Assalamualaikum to everyone and my honourable lecture,misS fiSha, this is about all the KOSOVO understanding. First, their wants independent without government by another country. Furthemore, the world court support the actions of Kosovo that wants to government their own country.

Second,effect of kosovo recognize is principle of freedom and independence. Separation ones of province involve to part, there are province, who ant independence and government centre, who has sovereignty. Separation and independence involve of war, that sacrifice a lot of people's living..

Thirdly, Kosovo deserve to have their authoroty as a sovereign country. This is because majority of their people are Islam. So it is not suitable as a Islamic country rule by a Serbia, where a Serbia is a Kristian. Morever, kosovo people are exclude because a Serbia attitude that protected their people. So Kosovo action to seperate with Serbia is the best way to Kosovo improve their country as a soverty country.


Lastly, the oponion is independent n sovereignty for a country is very important to make sure our country in good condition and far away from war situation. In addition, relationship between teh different entnic, relagion and culture must be respect to avoid from become enemies at each other.

Purposes of states?

Assalamualaikum and greetings to all Views of Novices readers.Whoa,it is cold right here.Night and raining.Yet,this computer lab in UiTM still open until 10 pm,thanks to the kindness of UiTM Dungun,so we can still manage to do our group task,even it is almost 9.14 pm.Not to ask your symphaties,but it is our responsibilities as a student,to do our assignment.No matter what it is.  :)

Our task is,to elaborate the purposes of states.As we know,actually states has no specific definations,except for definations from scholars such as Marx,Robert Dahl,and Giddens.Different definations from different eras too.

Everything are created or built for a purpose(or purposes).Even we,as human are created by God with purposes.So are states.Some of the state's functions are;

1)As public finance

States functions as public finance where people can saving or investing their money.With that money,government can make an investment by many ways.Consequence,the money will be more than before.The profit can be given as divident to the money-saver.So,it enhance the states finance.

2)As human capital

States also functions as public capital where government can train their people to be a trained human.For example,in Malaysia,we have Giatmara which train youths in various skills such as mechanical and wood product manufacturing.In the future,the youths can contribute to the country and increasing the states economy.The human capital also important to state as they contribute to state's development.

3)As the market

All trades(depending on what state) can be made internally,in the state itself.Investor can invest and buyers can buy and sell things.State as the important market will make sure the economy are still going on.Without the function of state as the market,the money flow will stop.Thus,threating the states bursaries.

4)As the public administration

The most important purpose of state is,as the main public administration centre.For example,in Malaysia we have Putrajaya as a main administration centre for Malaysia.All ministry are located there.For another example,we can take the White House in United States of America.It functions as the main administration centre for USA.

Therefore,state itself has many important purposes.There are many purposes,just showing few of it.The rest,can be found in many sources.Remember,reading is good for us.Don't be lazy guys.. :)

Kosovo:Issues of Independency

Hi there.We are from group 3A.Now,we want to talk about something MORE serious issue.It might be a big issue,but not all people know or care about it.

Open your old Mingguan Malaysia newspaper,dated 17th July 2010.And find an article with big title and font above it;"Kesan Hak Kosovo Diiktiraf".Read thoroughly.If you're interested in politics,then you'll understand the hidden words behind the title.

International Court of Justice(ICJ) has confirmed that now,Kosovo is free from Serbia because any country that want to claim their independency,have rights to stand for their own sake.But,their independence are gained through separation from Serbia.Not from a fresh,new country.

As expected,the Serbias are going against that declaration.They dont want their people to make chaos due to separation of their territory.

In this case,territory is the main issue.After the separation,not all people who want independence,get their rights.For example,before separation,there are two families who really want independence.But,after the separation,only one family gain the independency,as their family is in the territory of Kosovo.But the other family,still in Serbia.Still looking for freedom.This shows that territory can make a huge impact on independency.

For Kosovos,their independence through separation is a way to gain freedom and harmony,as they dont have to follows Belgrade(Serbia's capital) laws and regulations.

This shows that sovereignty is the most essential part for a state.In this case,Kosovo get their sovereignty through way of separation from Serbia.Now,they have their own government led by President,Fatmir Sejdiu.But,continous urges from Serbia might be a doomsday for Kosovo.They better defend their rights!

AZIZAH= my comment for first quiz. when i get the question. I feel I want to sleep. I think it just a simple and easy question . but I have no prepared a lot and early before the test, so, I can't do perfectly.......

ZUHAIRA= for my first quiz, I feel excited, nervous, and stress.

RASYIDAH= em........... not so easy, not so hard. the question is based on what we have learn. however, I still can not answer smoothy the question, mybe because I not well prepared. GETTING CRAZY WITH QUIZ :)

SHAHIRA : HELLO :) im NUR SHAHIRA . ohhh , about the quiz :) i feel the question quite hard . Especially in section B , structure question . The word and their use are make me dont understand . Mybe the words are high level and words of politic . The question use the indirect language . It make me dont understand at all in the certain question . I hope lecturer can give us more tips and advice to answer the quiz especially in final exam. Also , can lecturer teach us slowly because i take time to understand about poltical science . Moreover , political science is new subject that i take , make me feel so hard . I hope lecturer can understand .

TENGKU : ohhh , hello ohh hello . tengku bur aishah here . :) DPA quiz ? ohhhh know :) i think that the quiz is simple and easy but it's difficult to me to do it . It is because i do not have enough time to study , but i still can do it . That quiz is combination from CHAPTER 1 AND CHAPTER 2 . In taht quiz have many chapter 2 than chapter 1 to me . I also think that , chapter 2 is easier that chapter 1 to me . I understand in chapter 2 better that chapter 1 .

LAILI : HMM , straight to the point oke :) this quiz is not so hard but im not ready yet to answer this quiz because what i'm read . im not understand clearly .

HALIZA : PAD OH PAD . ahaaaa , comment about PAD quiz is , quite simple but need knowledge to answer it. I take serious for PAD quiz because i make revision for this quiz until 3AM just to make sure i can do the best . the most i like about the time when we have quiz is , we can go back after send the quiz paper . ahahha that's the great time for me .

NAZURAH : After the PAD quiz , my friends said i look so cool but in my deep heart who know ... i feel like " mati hidup semula" where answer taht paper . Only GOD know how my heart that time in the classes . This is because the "garang" or the correct word is too strict lecture . actually if you all want to know this is my second time i got the lecturer that too strict . I thought i never got it anymore when i get into the university but my assumetion is narrow . hehehe But never mind lahhh , it make me always in dicipline . :D

Group 3A-How do we feel about our first quiz?

Hi there.This is our thirth blog entry.And this time,we want to talk about "what do we feel about our first quiz?"

For your information(university students know this),our quiz is not like gameshow where we have to press a buzzer to answer the question and not a situation where we have to catch a magnetic fish to win a "furry" big teddy bear.But,our quiz is 100% on the paper.Haha.Weird?Thats the truth!

Our quiz consist of 3 part.Part 1 is objective questions.Part 2 is subjective,but only short answers.Part 3 is essay writing.In part 3,there are 2 questions and we have to choose one question only.

Pheew!That's enough.We write about the quiz too detailed right?Haha(Again..)

MALIN:It is okay,but the questions in part 2 is quite hard.But overall,its still okay

DILA:A little bit hard.In the essay part,I can write it,but I dont know how to give examples and elaborations.

DIANA:Essay part is quite okay,but its hard to give appropriate example.I forgot to elaborate with details.

PUTRI:Hard to answer.I can't answer it properly.Maybe because I don't understand the questions.

SYIRA:I don't know what to answer.I don't understand the questions so it's hard for me to answer it.

ADIB:It's an average questions.Not saying it is hard,but still not saying it is easy.Just average..

WHAT DOES POLITIC MEAN TO US . :)

In our opinion , politic is quite hard to fully understand but we had to know and updates everyday. politic is too general and sometimes we can't find the right example . politics also is never end . politic is about unsatisfaction and want more than that . From politic we can learn from the past so that we can change the way or improve in leadership . unstrong political institution can rained the country. the right politic that have patriotism spirit , they will lead the country as hard as strong .Politic is a tactic to get power , authority and influence . Sometimes , politic have their own pro's and contrast . The pro's are the goverment can help the community or society by the good way . from politic , is good for growth our economy by the diplomatic relationship with another country . from the certain people they said that politic has 3 defination that is ,

1.social relation involving authority and power .

2.the study of goverment of states and other political units .

3.the profession devoted to governing and to political affairs

4.the opinion you hold with respect to political question .

Group 3A-What does politic(s) mean to us?

Well,if we say about politics,almost all people will say about political parties,conflict,diplomatic,war..and whatsoever.Mostly it is true.But,politic is more than that.We have to study more deeply about all political situation that happens.Never judge a book only by its cover!

As a Political Science students,we look politics in a different view.Really different view.We look politics as a subject that need us to have a good general knowledge in history,good vocabulary/grammar in english,and plenty of current politic issues.Without all these knowledge,you will get no point at all about what are politics.

Generally.the word "politics" originates from Greek word,"polis" which means a city.In other words,politics is the study of a city.There are many defination about politics from different scholars.Here is one of them:

"any persistent pattern of human relationships that involves,to a significant extent,power,rule or authority".(by Dahl).

In our class,we can hear so many "bad words" about Political Science subject;

"Miss,i cannot speak english very good lah~"
"i hate history.So,i dont like this subject"
"Beb,ape tu sovereignty?I don't paham laa"
"legislative is..is...is..legislative is..a..power..is...is.."

Hey!Think positive!

Although some students think that politic is a tough subject to study for,but if we are working hard for it,then it is not a problem at all.English language,in this case,is the most important part(besides history).This subject(political science)are fully teached in english language.

Our last words,dont make politic as a platform to condemn others.Make politic as a platform to develop our country and maintain our sovereignty.(Sovereignty,again..)
